Rusty is Danny Ocean's right hand as the crew scrambles across Europe to repay Terry Benedict, competing with the Night Fox to steal the Fabergé Coronation Egg. His ex, Europol detective Isabel Lahiri, lifts his phone and arrests most of the gang, but it turns out the real egg was swiped by Linus's parents and mentor Gaspar LeMarc days earlier. Rusty ends the film taking Isabel to a safe house where she meets her father, LeMarc, and the crew walks free.
Nobody in the crew is ever in mortal danger; the stakes are financial and legal.
