The executioner's sword shatters mid-swing.
Framed by the goddess Eris for stealing the Book of Peace, Sinbad is sentenced to death, but Prince Proteus takes his place as hostage while Sinbad sails to Tartarus to recover it. Eris offers Sinbad a bargain: if he answers truthfully whether he'll return to face execution, she'll surrender the Book. He returns to Syracuse and kneels for the blade, but because he answered honestly, an enraged Eris must honor the deal, shattering the executioner's sword and delivering the Book. Sinbad is pardoned and sails off with Marina, who stows away on his ship.
Comes within a sword-swing of a beheading in the climax but is saved by divine contract. Animated voice role.
