Jack Trainer, a glorious-haired ex-Navy SEAL, storms Fairfax's jungle compound and rescues Loretta (Sandra Bullock) in a one-man action sequence. During the escape he is shot in the head by a mercenary in front of a horrified Alan (Channing Tatum), and the movie treats him as dead for the rest of the runtime. In a mid-credits scene Loretta and Alan spot him alive at a meditation class; he shrugs that only 10% of his brain was in use anyway.
Extended cameo of about 15 minutes. Apparent death around the end of act one; revealed alive mid-credits.
