Teddy is one of the teens who hurl rocks at an Amish buggy from a pickup, killing a seven-month-old baby. The prosecutor struggles to get the pacifist Amish family to testify. In the courtroom climax Teddy switches his plea to guilty as the Amish family walks in; the epilogue says the boys were fined and given suspended sentences.
